Speaking Reflection HW Due by 2/23 (Kuo-Yu)
On February 20, I am talking with my roommates in our room. I want to live out of dormitory so I ask them where they want to live. They all want to live in dormitory on next year. I say I am very confused where I should live because I live near the campus the rent will be very high and I can not live far away because I do not have a driving license yet.Have you looked on craigslist to find an apartment to share? http://richmond.craigslist.org/ Please make sure you interview people carefully to make sure that you find a compatible place and/or roommate. You could also look on this site for a used bike and that way you could live a little farther away. If you ride a bike, I highly recommend that you use a helmet.
This could be a way to find an inexpensive place to live close to campus.
I agree that finding a apartment to live in is very important. also you it is important to get a driver’s license; drivers is possesive because it is the license that is under the ownership of drivers.
If you use craiglist you must be very careful because there are a lot people who can be “crooked” in other words they might try to treat you unfairly or charge you for something that you don’t want.
i reccommend bringing someone native to the city or someone who has an apartment with you to help you get an affordable appartment :).
